Fragments, 2015
The film Include Me Out of the partisans manifesto, 2012 was shown for the first time as part of the IMMA Collection exhibition “Fragments”. The show had a diverse range of works that were shown under this title curated by Christina Kennedy and Marguerite O’Molloy.
A section of the exhibition was hung/arranged by Alan Phelan. The works were mainly from the Gordon Lambert Collection and Phelan responded by placing plants and flowers adjacent to groupings which were arranged by material. This section of the exhibition was arranged by Phelan
Many small sculptures from the Gordan Lambert Collection were organised by material - wood, steel, bronze and interspersed with small house plants on large table sized pedestals
Wall works were randomly hung to follow tone and form as the content varied wildly - the selection of works was made by curator Marguerite O'Molloy
