Kate knocked gently on the door. She didn't want to wake her Dad up too abruptly. He had gone for a rest while her Mom was off doing some shopping but that was over an hour ago. Mostly her Mom went for short naps, in the afternoon for about half an hour so surely he would want to be woken up by now in case there was something he had to do. It was Saturday though and he was probably tired after working all week. Sometimes he didn't get home till very late at night but he still took her to school the every morning, she liked that. She liked driving in his big car, only thing was her brother had also started going to her school but he was in Babies so it was okay. She really liked the kiss on her cheek as she got out of the car. She knocked again and there was no answer so she over to her brothers room.
